This month, SSL hosted an in person meeting to discuss the combining of the Draper program. No additional training topics are required beyond what you have been assigned. All Salt Lake based day staff must complete the May 2024 Staff Meeting topic question, and view the video if they were not in attendance on the LMS.  Training Page

Van Clearance Check Protocol Reminder (KSL Story)

Calling into work: Everyone should know the protocol for calling into work

  • Contact as soon as you know you’ll be late, follow up with lead if you left a message via phone
  • But let’s keep the communication open and ensure we are communicating to everyone that needs to be notified.

Chain of command: Make sure everyone understands our chain of command and what order they go in.

  • Staff will first report to assistant managers,
  • if they are not available or can not give you direction you then would go to Directors,
  • If they are not available or can’t give you direction you would go to Program Director: Shay,
  • If she’s unavailable and/or can’t be reached by phone and it is an emergency then you would contact Dan.
  • If it is not an emergency and she is unreachable leave me a message and/or send an email.
  • All Assistant managers, Directors and Supported living need to come to Shay first. If she is not available then leave a message and or send an email.
  • If it is a high level emergency then you would contact Dan and/or Dan Sr.
